Stage is set for the launch of Vikram's straight Telugu. The actor, who started his career with small budget films in Telugu, switched over to Tamilnadu, later, and became a top star there. But, he has not done any straight Telugu film so far. He is currently doing Mallanna for Telugu audiences, which in Tamil is titled Kandaswami.

Sources said Bommarillu Bhaskar, who is currently doing Parugu for Allu Arjun, is going to direct Vikram's straight Telugu film. Bogavalli Prasad, who produced Prabhas' starrer Chatrapati, will produce this film. If everything goes well, the film will be launched in June.
