Tarun is getting ready to turn a new leaf in his life ("new leaves" would be a better phrase). He has decided to make his own decisions and is now ready to star in the remake of a very successful action flick from Tamil.

There were always allegations that it was Tarun's domineering mom Roja Ramani who made all his decisions for her, including the ones on the girls whom he hung around with. Rumors were always on that he had to break up with Arthi Agarwal only because his mother wasn't okay with a daughter-in-law from the film industry. It looks as if Tarun has made his mind up about not letting his mother run his life for him anymore.

The actor has also become very serious about his career. There is a film with Ileana. This one is going to be a romantic action flick. But Tarun understands that he desperately needs an image change. He has finally found a perfect film- the recent Tamil flick 'Polladhavan'.

Rajinikanth's son-in-law Danush had starred in the film about a young man whose entire life revolves around his bike and how his life changes when the bike gets stolen. There was lot of competition to star in the film's Telugu remake. But it looks as if Tarun has won the battle.
