Director of the Ravi Teja’s newest flick “Mr.Uday Shankar” has been arrested in connection with the death of a junior artist “Mahendra Sharma” who was drowned in River Godavari and subsequently died.

Mr Sharma was acting as the dupe to Hero Ravi Teja. This unfortunate incident happened near Rajahmundry on 16th March. Incidentally Mr Sharma belongs to the near by village where the film shooting was taking place. So the local people have lodged a police complaint against the film unit.

The police have arrested the director of the film Uday Shankar and took him to Rampachodavaram .
