Vetern character actor of Telugu and Tamil cinema Mr.Raghuvaran (60) died in the early hours of 19th March.He died of a heart attak in Chennai.

Telugu film buffs remember him as "Bhavani" which he played in the block buster movie "Siva" which is considered to be a trend setter with Nagarjuna in the lead roll and was directed by Ram Gopal Varma as his first film.

One can not forget his performences in "Basha","Anjali","Shivaji","Suswagatam" and the list is never ending.His last film in Telugu is "Aatadista".Raghuvaran has got a unique style of modulation and dialogue delivery.He was Superstar RajiniKanth's favorite as he excelled in the role of the bad man in most of his films.The Superstar knew that unless the villain is given equal importance as the hero, his character will not become popular with the masses.

Raghuvaran has acted in over 100 films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi films.

Raghuvaran was married and had a divorce with actress Rohini. He has a son with her who is 8 now.It is a great loss to the Tamil and Telugu film industry in Raghuvaran's death.
