Kamalini Mukherjee made a dream start by acting in such good and clean family oriented films like Anand and Godavari. Shekar Kammula later gave the role of a beautiful lecturer in the film Happy Days.But her career did not pick up after that. She has been struggling to make it big but has been overtaken by the likes of Genelia, Nayanatara, Trisha and others. They all are known as hot and sexy heroines.

So Kamalini Mukherjee also decided to have an image makeover. She started wearing revealing costumes. But her efforts have not yielded her the desired results. In fact they are having a negative effect. The revealing costumes are showing her back and legs. The skin is not young and shining. There are also some spots on her legs. She is now 28 and her age is now clearly revealed in her skimpy costumes.

She is wearing them to show herself young. But she is appearing old due to the same.
