Introduced in 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' beside Kalyan Ram, Kaajal has won laurels and appraisals for her acting. Though she has acted in many Tamil films she did well in Krishna Vamsi's 'Chandamama',which made her stand as a good heroine in Tollywood.

Kaajal is doing a film next to Ram Charan Teja in Raj Mouli's direction. She met with a major accident at a Tamil film sets, as lady luck was with her she escaped with minor injuries. Henceforth she is undergoing treatment and threw a birthday bash at the hospital.
