It is learnt through reliable sources that Indian Heart throb Kareena Kapoor was approached by the producer of Pawan Kalyan starrer "Puli" to play the leading lady role.

It is also learnt that Kareena demanded a whooping Rs 5 Crores as her remuneration, which is very high to TFI standards.

Actually, S.J.Surya, the director of the film considered Parvati Melton for the role.
