Kallori - Trendy and youthful
Joshwa Sridhar has done it again. The young musician, who had enthralled us with his different approach in Kaathal, has come out with another winner with this album. Though the songs are not outstanding, they perfectly reflect the mood of the central theme of the movie, i.e., the life in collage campus. The songs are trendy and youthful. A melodious number that starts off with some peppy beats is about friendship between a couple and their association with the college where it blossomed. Excellent work by lead singers Krish and Suchitra, a refreshing change for her from the high pitched numbers she has been singing of late. Na. Muthukumar’s lyrics spell nostalgia and Joshua has recreated music of the era in his own inimitable style with subtle use of digital beats and rhythm reminiscent of those times.
