Actress Divya Spandanan did her debut film in Tamil with Silambarash in Kuttu Venkatesh. Her re-entred Kollywood with the name Divya in the movie Polladhavan with Dhanush turned out to be the biggest hit in 2007.

She also did a negative role with the movie Thoondil with Shyam which wasn’t received very will. She is currently shooting for the movie Varanam Aayiram directed by Varanam Aayiram.
