Mammootty was the chief guest for the function organised to celebrate the birthday of the late famous writer Vaikkam Muhamed Basheer.

When Mammootty started giving his lecture, a man stood up and shouted that Mammootty does not have any relationship with Basheer and Mammootty is lying that he was very close with Basheer.

Mammootty and the organizers requested the man to keep quite but he not only refused to accept the request but started shouting more. Immediately police were called and the man was arrested.

Even though there was slight disturbance because of the man, Mammootty continued his speech without any distraction!!!
