Mithya -Complicated film
MITHYA is a very complicated film dealt with in an uncomplicated manner by director Rajat Kapoor. The director handles the complexities of the film and the central character with aplomb to first set your creative juices flowing as a viewer. Then, long after the credits have rolled, you begin to unravel the mystery of the plot. There is finesse in direction and maturity in handling of the story.- by glamsham.com02/08/2008
Mithya -A Comic thriller movie
After directing films like Mixed Doubles and Raghu Romeo, Rajat Kapoor is back with yet another film with a niche subject titled 'Mithya'. Rajat Kapoor directs his most ambitious project yet, a comic thriller that will amuse as well as thrill you. Mithya stars Rajat's co-stars of the low budget box-office hit film 'Bheja Fry', Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Patak along with Neha Dhupia and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles.

Mithya - A great start but poor finish
Here comes the release of a film that has been in the festival circuit for a while. Rajat Kapoor takes up the directorial reigns after films such as Raghu Romeo and Mixed Doubles. So, what’s in store for us from a filmmaker who loves exploring the ‘niche’ with ‘niche’ subjects?
With already a film such as ‘superstar’ carrying the double-role element with a mix of action, drama and songs releasing simultaneously; Rajat Kapoor’s Mithya is definitely for the multiplex audience. - by indiaglitz.com02/08/2008.
Mithya -Rajat Kapoor's film
Lucky are we, the famished cineastes, to get two films that merit more than a passing glance within one week - Rajat Kapoor's "Mithya" and Rohit Jugraj's "Superstar".
"Mithya" is a mellowed-down account of a fierce gangland rivalry. But none of the actors are seen fighting for a voice or a space. In a world gone awry and propelled by moral tensions, the characters fit in without pressure.
