Cricket seems to have gone into the veins of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. He was always there to support his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders though they faltered after a great start. His team failed to make it to the semi-finals but he is ready to invest more on cricket.

King Khan met West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and expressed his interest in setting up a cricket academy at Rajarhat to horn the local talents. It is said that he wants to set a modern cricket academy similar to that of Australian Cricket Academy. However, the CM requested him to invest on film production in the state instead. He also invited him to the next Kolkata Film Festival (KFF).

It is said that it was just an informal meeting Shahrukh is yet to submit a formal proposal. Watch out for King Khan's next move!
